Loeb House Inc. is looking for a Program Supervisor for a Community Residence servicing adults living with a serious, mental illness and/or chemical addiction.
Full Time 40 hours: Monday to Friday 10 AM – 6 PM
$60,045/year to start
Responsible for overall management and supervision of the community residence serving mentally ill and/or chemically addicted individuals.
Conveys clear understanding of Program and Agency philosophy and mission to staff and promotes appropriate working/living atmosphere within the house.
Serves as a role model and advocate.
Develops and implements restorative services based on accurate and consistent treatment plans which are reviewed at least quarterly.
Is familiar with and follows policies and procedures outlined in the Agency Employee Handbook, Program Manual, Emergency Procedures, Corporate Compliance, OSHA, HIPAA and NYS Justice Center Policies.
Oversees Assistant Supervisor and direct care staff and daily operation of the Program. Assists with staff scheduling on a regular basis, ensuring that the correct number and combination of staff are on duty for all shifts, reviews and approves time cards for submission to payroll, conducts regular supervision and evaluates staff.
Assists in management of clients benefits, i.e. SSI/SSD, TA, etc. as needed
Must convey respectful, open and friendly demeanor toward consumers, co-workers and Agency staff.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as referral/social histories, housing contracts and service plans.
Ability to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with recipients, professionals and treatment team.
Must be able to participate in hiring process; train and develop new employees.
Education and Experience:
BA or AA Degree is highly desired and/or post-High School learning with 5 years’ experience. HS Diploma is required.
Experience with Mentally ill and/or Chemically Addicted individuals required.
Valid driver’s license required. Must possess basic computer knowledge and skills.
Managerial experience preferred.
